Bryan Guidry MMA Victory at Lucky's

This fight was Bryan Guidry's last mixed martial arts fight on May 10th, 2003. He took the fight on one week's notice after a 2 year layoff. He was told he was fighting a wrestler with no striking experience. Obviously, somebody lied. The kick to Bryan's face shattered his orbital and cheek bone in several places. 1 minute after being kicked in the face, Bryan is able to land an arm bar and finish his opponent. A week after the fight, Bryan had plastic surgery on his oribital and cheek bone. 3 titanium plates were installed around his orbit and 1 plastic plate was put under his cheekbone for stability. According to the doctor, the surgically repaired side is stronger than the other side.
